Definitely, Maybe

"On the day she has her first sex ed class, 10-year-old Maya grills her divorcing dad Will Hayes about her conception. That night, he fills her in, changing the names of the women who were in his life then to keep her guessing which is her mom: Emily, his college girlfriend when he came to New York from Wisconsin for Clinton's '92 campaign; April, edgy, a little cynical, who misses her father; and, Summer, a writer attracted to older, established men. In demanding the story, Maya's motivation is clear: to get her dad to fall in love again with her mom. Will this parent trap work? In the telling, might Will discover his true Penelope? Definitely. Maybe."

i dig romantic comedies.

as much as that sounds gu niang, it's something i really gotta admit.

caught this on tv just now. missed the beginning, as usual, managed to catch the bulk of it i think..

pretty interesting. won't put it up there as a fav. pleasant.

gotta catch the whole movie sometime. definitely. maybe.

learn something new today.

What is that?

"Gokon is essentially a group blind date where two friends of the opposite gender decide on a date and a place, as wellas the number of people in each team. Then they both invite a few friends of their gender, balancing the numbers in each team. On the selected date, everyone meets at the selected restaurant and the date begins!"

k's wedding

food is comme si comme sa.

wedding singer is good but sings too loud, talk too much. this is not her concert lor.

uncle that went up to stage to lead yum seng. good intentions but should not stand in front of bridge & groom, they are the lead after all.

drunk & loud pple. Tonight is not their night. Behave.

food @ KL

bak ku teh for brunch.

bak ku teh under the tree. soup is rich. the meat is tender.

not my type of bkt but i enjoyed it anyway. mine's the really peppery none soy sauce type.

steam boat for dinner. not a steam boat fan.

pumpkin porridge soup base for steam boat. not a porridge fan. not a pumpkin fan.

meat ball. not a meat ball fan.

dinner is GREAT! the pumpkin porridge soup base is surprisingly good! it's sweet but not overwhelmingly so. with the egg beaten in it, a tiny bit of soy sauce & sesame oil..it's one of the best if not the best steam boat i have had. the pork meat ball is fantastic. it's the usual meat ball texture at the outside, but it's so juicy inside. yum! i actually helped myself to 4 of them. they're ping pong size ok. the fish noodle is quite Q, pretty good too. like the chilli there, not too spicy but nicely flavored. service is amazing. my glass of beer is like ALWAYS full. plates are cleared fast, they even help u beat the egg.

A+++ dinner!

float float

needed the night off last yesterday.

skipping OT is good.

just feeling quite bad after looking at the huge list of potential "cheaters". choked.

glad that u're available. life-saver!

2am dessert bar

like the seats. not too soft, just right, comfy. table kinda tiny and vibrates too much when i knock on to it.

enjoyed my dessert. it's not cream. NOT. the sorbet is refreshing. good contrast.

chilli chocolate is hotter than expected.

rose petal sorbet..high class way of saying bandung...well just tastes like bundung.

the wine that went with my C3..can't tell if it's good or bad but i like the combi anyway.

would i make a trip back? maybe :)

hard to beat the company i have tonight though.

you've got a mail

just caught this on tv.

watched it a couple of times before on tv as well but have never manage to catch the beginning of the movie.

charming. lots of quotes i like. like the music in the movie as well.

"People always say that change is a good thing, but what it really means is that something that you didn't want to happen, has happened."

"The odd thing about this form of communication is that you're more likely to talk about nothing than something. But I just want to say that all this nothing has meant more to me than so many somethings."

"Sometimes I wonder about my life. I lead a small life. Well, not small, but valuable. And sometimes I wonder, do I do it because I like it, or because I haven't been brave? So much of what I see reminds me of something I read in a book, when shouldn't it be the other way around? I don't really want an answer. I just want to send this cosmic question out into the void. So good night, dear void."

"The whole purpose of places like Starbucks is for people with no decision-making ability whatsoever to make six decisions just to buy one cup of coffee. Short, tall, light, dark, caf, decaf, low-fat, non-fat, etc. So people who don't know what the hell they're doing or who on earth they are can, for only $2.95, get not just a cup of coffee but an absolutely defining sense of self: Tall. Decaf. Cappuccino."
