nice place in H.V.
like the colors. it gives u the feeling that u're in the meditarranean, by the sea that kind of thing.
white walls, blue floor planks.
quality of dessert is average. (at least the ones i tried)
like the music.
t-shake is interesting, first sip: thought it's something from some drain, rest: good. beer is quite nice, can't remember the name but it's belgian? actually left a good aftertaste.
spent 4 good hours there. the bill is bigger than the one at 2am, more orders were made though.

this is actually my fav movie out of the last four i caught. clive owen is wudi charming while julia is as endearing as always. not as confusing as some of the reviews made it out to be. take note of the "time gap" during the flash backs and it will not be complex at all. the slow mo at the beginning is a slight annoyance. not those rewatchable kind of movie but i really like it. clever & fun.

could have been more? feel the connection the girls have with their job could have been further developed. the grand-dad is cool. shrimp & corn, heh. suicide right at the start, then a few more speckled through the movie. i like the idea of how talking through the mouth piece is like sending ur voice up to heaven.
Rose Lorkowski (Amy Adams) finds herself a single mother attempting to support her son Oscar (Jason Spevack) and her unreliable sister Norah (Emily Blunt) while working a mundane job as a maid. Once the head cheerleader in school with plenty of prospects, Rose now has little to show for her years, and while she still sees the former lead football player (Steve Zahn), it is little more than a despondent affair. When Oscar is expelled from public school, Rose takes a job as a bio-hazard crime-scene cleaner to help pay for a private education, and brings Norah on to help in her steadily growing business. As the sisters work to clean up the messes left behind by the chaotic lives of others, they must learn to reconcile their own differences and overcome a troubled past if they hope to prosper in their newfound venture.
